How to cancel ProtonVPN
Free step-by-step cancellation guide
- Go to account.proton.me, sign in, and select any Proton service (e.g. Proton VPN).
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon) > All settings > Subscription.
- Scroll down to "Cancel subscription" and click "Continue".
- If you're sure you want to cancel, click "Cancel subscription" again to confirm.
- Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, then downgrades to the Proton Free plan (it does not renew).
- Note: subscriptions bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by those stores — cancel via the store's subscription settings (per Proton's app-store billing docs).
