How to cancel iCloud+
Free step-by-step cancellation guide
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings and tap your name.
- On iOS 18.4 and later, tap "Subscriptions", then tap iCloud+ under Active.
- To cancel, tap "Cancel Subscription". To downgrade, tap "See All Plans" and choose a smaller plan.
- On iOS 18 to 18.3: tap iCloud, then "Manage Plan", then "Downgrade Options". On iOS 17 and earlier: tap iCloud, then "Manage Account Storage", then "Downgrade Options". Choose the free 5 GB plan either way.
- On the web, manage your storage and plan at account.apple.com.
- Changes take effect at your next billing date.
- If your bank statement shows Apple or Google rather than iCloud+, the subscription was bought in an app store, and cancelling on the iCloud+ website will not stop it.
- Cancel it in the store instead. On an iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap the subscription, then Cancel Subscription. On Android, open the Play Store, go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select the subscription and tap Cancel subscription.
- Deleting the app does not cancel a store-billed subscription.
