How to cancel Netflix
Free step-by-step cancellation guide
- Sign in at netflix.com in a web or mobile browser.
- Go to the "Manage your membership" page: netflix.com/cancelplan takes you there when signed in.
- Click or tap "Cancel".
- Under Cancel, click or tap "Finish Cancellation".
- If your bank statement shows Apple or Google rather than Netflix, the subscription was bought in an app store, and cancelling on the Netflix website will not stop it.
- Cancel it in the store instead. On an iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap the subscription, then Cancel Subscription. On Android, open the Play Store, go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select the subscription and tap Cancel subscription.
- Deleting the app does not cancel a store-billed subscription.
- A confirmation email is sent; access continues until the account closes at the end of your billing period.
