How to cancel X
Free step-by-step cancellation guide
- Sign in to X on the platform where you subscribed (x.com web, iOS app, or Android app).
- Manage your subscription from Settings on the platform where you subscribed (on x.com, select "Premium" from the side navigation or profile menu).
- Cancel the subscription to stop auto-renewal. To avoid further charges, cancel at least 24 hours before the auto-renewal period.
- Your Premium features — including the blue checkmark — remain until the end of the billing cycle you paid for.
- If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, contact Apple or Google directly for app-related cancellation (cancel in the store's subscription settings).
- Canceling won't give you a refund for amounts already paid (subscriptions are non-refundable unless required by law).
