How to cancel Spotify
Free step-by-step cancellation guide
- Sign in at spotify.com and go to your account page.
- Under "Manage your plan", click "Cancel subscription".
- Follow the prompts to confirm.
- If your bank statement shows Apple or Google rather than Spotify, the subscription was bought in an app store, and cancelling on the Spotify website will not stop it.
- Cancel it in the store instead. On an iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap the subscription, then Cancel Subscription. On Android, open the Play Store, go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select the subscription and tap Cancel subscription.
- Deleting the app does not cancel a store-billed subscription.
- Your Premium stays until your next billing date, then your account switches to free (immediately if you cancel during a zero-priced free trial).
